A. Preventive Maintenance Upon arrival, notify and check in with the designated District maintenance contact. Provide a report after each visit. Provide regularly scheduled preventive maintenance at intervals recommended by the equipment manufacturer and as required by code. Ensure each site maintains an active Maintenance Control Program and a comprehensive log of maintenance activities, as required by ASME A17.1, Article 8.6.1.4.1 (3), and the applicable authority having jurisdiction standards. Ensure all lubricants, filters, and parts meet manufacturer specifications. Provide recommendations for equipment improvements, modernization, or upgrades as needed. The District’s electrician or electrical contractor will perform all required testing in compliance with L&I regulations, including fire service confidence testing, shunt trip testing, and elevator controls verification. The Elevator Contractor shall be present to observe and verify the testing. B. Inspections Upon arrival, notify and check in with the designated District maintenance contact. Provide a report after each visit. Coordinate and perform all required state and local inspections in compliance with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) Elevator Safety Program. Coordinate all required inspections with the District and L&I. Submit inspection reports and certificates to the District promptly after each inspection. Shall recommend equipment replacement or upgrades when economically justified and in the District’s best interest. C. Repairs and Emergency Service Upon arrival, notify and check in with the designated District maintenance contact. Provide a report after each visit.
