The Work to be performed under these Contract Documents is generally described as follows. Removal of five (5) blowers, suction and discharge piping, variable frequency drives, two (2) motor control line up (MCLU) cabinets and related appurtenances and replacement with new blowers, suction and discharge piping, switchboards, and appurtenances. The Work also includes electrical and structural work associated with the voltage change to the blowers from 4160-volt to 480-volt, the needed electrical load center modifications for the new power supply and overall power system redundancy to FWRC, two (2) new portable generator termination cabinets, and conduit and cable installation between Load Center 20 and the Blower Building.
