The Project anticipates the following scope of work which shall be validated by Firm during design phase: 1. One story, three-lane, 5,000 sf apparatus bay with adjacent 3,200 sf of bay support spaces. 2. One story, 1,700 sf administrative office suite. 3. One story, 1,200 sf training room. 4. One story, 5,300 sf fire house (sleeping quarters, day room, fitness, day room, MEP support). 5. Sitework, site utilities, and associated site improvements. Fire Alarm • Furniture: Provide furniture space planning, development of performance criteria, coordination of colors/finishes/fabrics and procurement assistance to the Owner for purchase of all furniture solutions. • Code required signage and limited wayfinding signage. • Public Agency Interface: All pre-planning required for AHJ Approvals and permitting • For the Schematic and Design Development design phase deliverables the Architect shall provide an estimate from the Engineer of Record for the Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, Low Voltage Systems (Audio Visual, Security, Voice/Data), Furthermore, the Architect shall 1) collaborate with and review Navigate Building Solutions’ estimates of the civil, structural and building scope of services 2) provide budgets for furniture to be incorporated into NAVIGATE generated Total Program Budget. • Code Analysis: Overall building and life safety code reviews to be conducted by all disciplines. All meetings with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) to confirm code interpretations and design assumptions and to pre-plan for permitting. • Presentations to the Board: One Presentation per Design Phase for three total. • At the completion of the project, incorporate all project change directives (proposal requests, ASIs, CCDs) into the electronic project drawings and provide a final set to the Owner in both pdf and CAD format. • Create a commissioning specification to meet code. Specification shall identify what commissioning tasks the Contractor is to perform and what commissioning tasks will be performed by a 3rd party or by the design team.
