The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to seek competitive bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver Airframe and Powerplant Trainers for Lenoir Community College (LCC). Lenoir Community College (LCC) is implementing an Airframe & Powerplant Instructional Program. To teach this curriculum, we must adhere to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)standards. To meet FAA requirements, we must purchase, maintain, and operate equipment that is specially designed to train students on the various systems onboard Civilian and Military Aircraft. This includes Electrical System Trainers, Lyc. O-320 Test Cell, Light Turbine Hyd. Ldg., Fluid Lines & Fittings, and Hydraulic Test Bench. We are required to show the FAA that LCC has purchased and received these trainers before we can receive certification to teach Airframe & Powerplant to our students.
