To be considered for selection, the Engineering Consulting Firm shall be qualified and capable to provide at a minimum the following services for the proposed projects: 1. The National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) Bridge Inspection Program, henceforth called the “NBIS Program”, for proposed gantry and cantilever structures to be constructed within the NCDOT right-of-way. 2. Structure design, structure repair design, estimating, bidding services, and construction administration services. 3. Subcontracted special services, such as surveying, geotechnical, environmental, resident project representative, and quality assurance testing. 4. Provide technical assistance and advice to the activities identified above as required. 5. Engineering Consultant must be prequalified and remain prequalified with the NCDOT for the life of the Master Contract.
