The Work to be performed consists of the replacement of all sprockets, chains, flights, and shafts inside of FST Basins for the purpose of rehabbing the basins with all new mechanical parts. Work is located inside of the A-Side FST Basins #2 and #4 on the 3-Shaft Collector Tank, 4-Shaft Collector Tank, and Cross-Collector Tank. A-Side FST Basin #2 and #4 shall be sufficiently cleaned by CWS Operators before work is to commence. Installation must be with Contractor's own personnel. Contractors, their Project Managers, and their Superintendents must have experience with successful installation and proper alignment of chain-driven sprockets, head shafts, static shafts, and drive chains. Contractor must also have experience working in a confined space.
