Location, design, modifications, and work to be done. 1. Location: The existing boathouse is located at the Anuenue Fisheries Research Center. For more detail on location see ATTACHMENT B-1: BOATHOUSE SITE. All contents in the boathouse will be removed by AFRC prior to construction. Contractor will provide AFRC a 2 week notice prior to starting construction to allow removal of contents. Concrete roadway barriers (curb blocks) on the South side will be removed by AFRC. 2. Boathouse: The existing boathouse was built in three sections and is a combination of two (2) different but similar models that were attached together. All three (3) sections are COVER-ALL buildings. Section- Model 10 OC TAS MODEL 320 installed in 2004 (SO#: 62471). SectionModel 10 OC LBS LEGEND installed in 2005 (SO#: 69432). Section-3 10 OC LBS LEGEND installed in 2008 (S0#: 81843). The change in model was due to the first section (older model) being discontinued. All three section are similar with the only difference being the height with the first section being slightly less by approximately 4- . The option was to either lower the foundation by the difference or accept the bump up at the joint. The second and third sections (which are the same model) are identical except for their length. The overlap from section-1 to section-2 and section-2 to section-3 is the end flap. Feasibility of changing the original plans and combining the 2nd and 3rd is not known. No leakage has been observed at the overlapping connections between covers. The apron is secured by backfilling. See ATTACHMENT C-1: PHOTOS. 3. Work to be done: For current photos of the boathouse see ATTACHMENT C-1: PHOTOS. Work to include the removal and replacement of the boathouse cover with a similar and/or better cover as noted below. Treat rust as required and replace parts as needed to extend the useable functional life of the building. The following are some (but not limited to) items to be replaced: a. Building cover. b. All lashing straps.
