Under the leadership of the City of Edmonds’ Transportation Engineer, the consultant will work as an independent and contracted consultant to provide the services in preparation of following documents: 1. Concept Design 1.1. BACKGROUND: SCJ is the main design consultant for the Stage 3 and Stage 4 projects, responsible for the completion of the final PS&E package. The inclusion of any urban design elements within the Design plans will need to be coordinated with SCJ. Preliminary aerial layouts have been completed to determine potential locations along both stages where urban design elements can be added. 1.2. INVENTORY: On-site field inventory to verify existing conditions and review the proposed locations shown in a recently completed layout. 1.3. KICK-OFF MEETING AND SITE VISIT: Prepare for and attend a project kick-off ZOOM meeting with the City of Edmonds to review background and discuss any site issues/ observations / previous work related to urban design elements.
