The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and permits necessary to perform corrective actions for the UDC-2 Jet Fuel system. Work Shall include: • Draft plans and obtain Los Angeles County CUPA permit(s), prepared and signed by a certified Registered Geologist. • Submit modification application(s) as required by the Notice of Violation (NOV) and coordinate all plan checks with CUPA and the County. • Demolish and remove the existing UDC, associated shear valves, and surrounding concrete safety requirements. • Properly handle and dispose of any hazardous materials or residual liquids in accordance with HAZMAT requirements. • Collect soil samples during removal activities and provide closure reports as directed by CUPA. SOLICITATION # RFB-IS-26200274 - 3 - • If additional samples are required, the Contractor shall perform them in accordance with CUPA direction and County standards. • Install a new deep-barrier UDC with approved flex lines and shear valves to replace failed secondary containment components. • Modify underground pressurized product piping between the above ground filter/loading area and the jet fuel dispenser to ensure proper drainage into a monitored sump, in compliance with the NOV findings. • Install new 208 sump sensors in the new UDC. • Upgrade and connect all necessary electrical systems to ensure continuous monitoring compliance. • Conduct primary and secondary containment integrity inspections. • Perform all pre-tests and inspections with CUPA inspector present. • Provide detailed test results and compliance documentation to the County. • Backfill excavated areas and place new concrete in accordance with County specifications. • Reinstall the existing fuel dispenser and confirm proper operation and integration with the UDC system. • Conduct final testing and inspection with CUPA present. • Provide all signed documentation of corrective actions, CUPA test results, and compliance certifications to the County.
