Requesting School/Department: Special Education; Product and/or service to be purchased: Online and Written Educational, Clinical, and Special Needs Student Assessments; Earliest date purchase may occur: 10/16/2025; Proposed Supplier: Pearson; Justification: R33-108-101a(2)(a) a procurement item for which there is no commercially available substitute, and which can be from only one vendor; NCS Pearson is the publisher and creator of the following products: Q-Global Items, included but not limited to BASC-3, Vineland-3, KABC-II NU, Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen, WIAT-4, WISC-V, and WPPSI-IV ; Q-Interactive Items included but not limited to Digital Subtests and Q-Interactive License Renewals; Physical Items included but not limited to CTONI-2, DAS-11, KABC-II, KTEA-3, and WNV; These products are technically superior instruments for screening students for special education and other critical assessments in the K-12 environment. This testing is the nationally normed test and is hence very useful in comparing a student's test performance to other students of the same age.
