In addition to the sexual assault medical forensic examination service (paid for by Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, Crime Victims Compensation), grant funded activities may include: Providing immediate response Evaluating and managing patients Preserving, managing, and tracking evidence Providing information, referrals, and follow up Coordinating responses with other professionals, such as Community Sexual Assault Programs or Children’s Advocacy Centers Participating in multidisciplinary team (MDT) or sexual assault response team (SART) meetings Report writing Peer review Outreach and education to the public about sexual assault and available resources Preparing for and testifying in court Consulting with other providers, disciplines, and systems
