GROUP 1: ECOLOGICAL MONITORING 1. Stream Channel or upland geomorphological monitoring Bids shall be provided at an Hourly Rate to include hourly wages, equipment needs, travel per diem and equipment. Work shall include, but not limited to, monitoring methods such as Bank Erosion Hazard Index and stream surveys. 2. Vegetation monitoring Bids shall be provided at an Hourly Rate to include hourly wages, equipment needs, travel per diem and equipment. Work shall include, but not limited to, monitoring methods such New Mexico Wetlands Rapid Assessment Method data collection, transects, quadrats, line point intercept and remote sensing. 3. Project Management Bids shall be provided at an Hourly Rate to include wages, equipment needs, travel per diem, equipment and to provide direction, oversight, and planning to meet project objectives and ensure quality implementation. Project management responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, field inspections, coordination with contractors and project partners, delineation and marking of project boundaries, generation of periodic reports on project status and final reports and conducting pre- and post-monitoring. 4. Mobilization Costs Mileage will be measured and paid from the Contractor’s designated base station to the job site or when applicable mileage will be measured from an existing job site to the new job site and payment will be for whichever distance is less. GROUP 2: VEGETATION REMOVAL 5. Mechanical Cutting Bids shall be provided at an Hourly Rate to include hourly wages, equipment needs, travel per diem and equipment. Contractor shall use a HydroAxe, Tiger Cat, Bobcat with attachment, excavator with attachment or equivalent machinery to cut trees/shrubs for purposes of invasive species removal or for restoration/sourcing materials. This may include but is not limited to a lop and scatter cut and the bucking and delimbing of tree boles. 6. Manual Cutting Bids shall be provided at an Hourly Rate to include hourly wages, equipment needs, travel per diem and equipment. Contractor shall use a chainsaw or equivalent to cut trees/shrubs for purposes of invasive species removal or for restoration/sourcing materials. Selected trees/shrubs would be marked for cutting or selected by written prescription. This may include but is not limited to a lop and scatter cut, and the bucking and delimbing of tree boles.
