Contractors submitting a response to this RFP should provide a detailed description of the contractor’s experience in developing and administering a nurse aide knowledge exam for use by a regulatory body in the determination of an applicant’s eligibility to be registered as a certified nurse aide. Contractors should provide a description of the ability to: Oversee the design and development of a nurse aide knowledge exam, with a comprehensive pool of test questions, that complies with Board and federal nurse aide competency evaluation program requirements, for the administration to applicants to meet the knowledge exam requirement for registration as certified nurse aides. Perform a psychometric evaluation of the knowledge exam to determine efficacy, reliability, and validity and a process to share the results with stakeholders. Coordinate administration of a proctored online knowledge exam, including the option to administer the exam orally. Provide exam proctor training, approval process, and maintenance of a database of proctors. Administer the online knowledge exam in a secure and confidential manner. Score the knowledge exam and report the results to the nurse aide test candidate and the Board. Meet financial obligations associated with the administration and evaluation of the exam. Allow the Board to review and provide feedback on the knowledge exam pool of questions. Provide access to the Board to the state’s approved nurse aide training programs test candidate results to identify the number that passed and failed the exam. Respond and be available to communicate with the Board as needed. Provide phone and online assistance and support to nurse aide test candidates and exam proctors. Provide exam resources for nurse aide test candidates. Receive and retain revenue generated from the scope of work to administer the exam.
