The project includes the following work: Interior alterations of approximately 1,600 SF on level 2 of the University of Washington Medical Center, Montlake campus, to upgrade existing diagnostic computer tomography (CT) equipment and associated outpatient space to support image-guided procedures. The Owner’s vendor will supply and install the new CT equipment. The Contractor shall provide all renovations necessary to accommodate and support the new equipment in accordance with the vendor installation documents, project specifications, and project design documents. The Contractor shall coordinate installation with vendor and provide on-site support during equipment installation. This will be a single-phase project. Infection Control will be required for the duration of work. Renovations include selective demolition and interior remodel to reconfigure entry, equipment closet, control room, staff work area, and procedure room. Work also includes localized modification to existing HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems. New plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, fire alarm, electrical/telecom, and fire suppression systems shall connect to and extend existing building systems. Plumbing and electrical scope will require above ceiling work on level one. HVAC scope includes renovation of the second-floor systems serving rooms SS262 and SS250, including ductwork, diffusers, fan coil units, and all associated appurtenances. The two-pipe fan coil units will be a like-for-like replacement. All new HVAC systems shall be integrated into the existing BMS.
