Approximately 890 ft of existing 6-ft chain link fence need replacement higher security fence. These 890 ft are for the west and south side of the perimeter fence. The project will prioritize installation on the west side of the premises, which is the one with more security events. The project will also replace as much of the south fence as allowed by the budget, prioritizing from the west to the east side of the segment. ODOT has limited funds for this project. For bidding purposes, vendors will bid for 600 ft of new fence as initial scope of work. Depending on budget availability, unit price bid items may or may not be used to add scope at the beginning of project. Payment for fence installation shall be by lineal foot of installed fence, not by total length of fence panels purchased.
