The successful contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to treat parkway Ash trees, including any necessary watering at the time of injection is to ensure successful treatments. The watering scope of services (below) should be communicated in advance to ensure that this service is warranted based upon applicable weather conditions at the time of treatment. EAB Treatment – PART 1 FY 2025–2026: Treat up to one hundred seventeen (117) trees totaling approximately 1,982.0 DBH during the period March 1, 2026 through April 30, 2026. The 117 trees shall be treated in conjunction with seasonal rainfall to minimize the amount of supplemental watering needed. Reference Attachment C for additional information regarding this list of 117 Ash trees. EAB Treatment – PART 2 FY 2026–2027: Treat the remaining sixty-seven (67) trees totaling approximately 1,692 inches DBH during the period May 1, 2026 through June 10, 2026. The 67 trees shall be treated in conjunction with seasonal rainfall to minimize the amount of supplemental watering needed. Reference Attachment C for additional information regarding this list of 67 Ash trees. Time is of the essence. Contractor shall coordinate sequencing with the Village Forester and provide at least 48-72 hour notice prior to mobilization. Supplemental Watering: Depending on weather conditions, the Contractor may also be required to water trees prior to treatment to ensure successful absorption of chemicals. Trees shall be treated in conjunction with seasonal rainfall, therefore supplemental watering may be minimized. Watering will occur at the discretion and approval of the Village Forester.
