ESD seeks a qualified contractor to excavate and make repairs to the sewer line at our Quest facility located at 1946 8th Ave, Longview, WA 98632 Work to include: • Include all necessary work to complete the project's repairs and return the site back to its original condition. Include saw cutting, hauling of cut-concrete and asphalt, excavation, shoring, plumbing, back-fill, pour-back of concrete, new asphalt patching, etc. o The required repairs are at the 8' deep level. • Include all necessary building dept. permits, fees, and inspections. • All excavated over-burden to be hauled away and replaced with fresh backfill. The jobsite is not to be used for storing any excavation materials or backfill - order and delivery is only permitted when the materials will be immediately used. • Include any and all erosion control in case of in-climate weather during the project's active work hours. Protect the site from soil washouts getting into the building's entrance and existing building. • The existing retaining wall is not to be disturbed. Contractor is responsible to protect this retaining wall from any damage during the project. • Contractor to protect the existing sidewalks, parking lot, and concrete patio from any damage during the project. • Contractor to provide owner with pictures of all the underground processes and work "before" the work is backfilled and covered. • A site visit is required prior to bidding. • This jobsite is located at an active behavioral health program and will be occupied during the repair process. • Temporary work-site safety chain-link fencing of at least 6' in height to be included in order to surround & protect the site from the program’s occupants. • All open trenches to be covered overnight for safety and secured with the temp fencing. The entire site should be cordoned off by the contractor with caution tape and candle sticks as an additional layer of safety.
