The purpose of this Small Business Reserve Procurement is for installation and establishment of 13 trees in the US50 median in Cambridge, Maryland and 3 trees in the MD528 (Coastal Highway) median in Ocean City, Maryland. The Contractor must supply all labor, equipment, tools, and materials for tree installation and the one-year Establishment Phase in accordance with the Contract Specifications. The median planting area of US50 in Cambridge contains old root mass from previous trees and the ground is covered in river rock. Additional labor may be required to remove old tree mass from each tree pit and the river rock will need to be removed from the tree pit locations and then reset following tree installation. The application of shredded hardwood mulch is not required at this location.
