Consultants should be familiar with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and North Dakota Aeronautics Commission (NDAC) funding programs and project requirements, as well as procurement processes of the City of Minot. Projects may be added or delayed based on funding availability and/or the airport’s needs. The. The projects will be funded in part by the FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and are planned to include: Construction of Runway 8-26 Rehabilitation and Threshold Relocation Design and Construction of Access Roadways Improvements Demolition or Relocation of Hangars Design and Construction of T-Hangars Procurement of Snow Removal Equipment, Airfield Paint Machine, and other airfield maintenance equipment and vehicles. Design and Construction of Fuel Farm Improvements Update Airport Master Plan/ALP and Airport Wildlife Management Plan Design and Construction of various Taxiways Design and Construction of Quick Turn Around (QTA) Facility Obstruction Removal including Zoning and Avigation Easements Rehabilitation of Parking Lots Additional projects as needed to enable and complete the above projects, or other additional projects Assistance and strategic guidance relative to financial planning, grant funding, CIP development, and non-aeronautical development.
