The City of Central (Central) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from professionally licensed firms with pertinent project experience that are interested in providing Architectural and Engineering Services for the Main Street 2030 – Rodeo Arena project. As a key component of the City of Central’s Main Street 2030, the proposed Rodeo Arena will serve as a multi-purpose civic asset designed to stimulate economic activity, support tourism, and enhance community engagement. While the facility will accommodate traditional rodeo events, its broader mission is to function as a versatile, revenue-generating venue capable of hosting a wide range of community events, exhibitions, and regional functions. Funded through capital outlay allocations, with a budget of $6,138,812.72, the project will reflect the scale and functionality of successful peer facilities as determined by the City of Central. The City of Central is seeking a local architecture firm with extensive experience in large-scale agricultural events, public assembly, and sports facilities to lead the design effort, or to partner with a nationally recognized architectural firm with relevant experience. The facility program will include the following components that can be completed in phases: • Climate-Controlled Main Arena (priority) o Fixed seating for spectators, plus ADA accommodations o 3,500 seating capacity, 5,000 if floor seating is included, with possible standing-room only general admission spaces o Seamless rodeo set up that can also be used for other events (concerts, conventions, prom, etc.) o Integrated concessions, restrooms, and support facilities • Open-Air Barn o Moveable stalls, with capacity for additional temporary stalls o Warm-up areas and designated cow tie areas o Wash racks and associated support amenities • RV Accommodations o RV sites equipped with 30/50-amp power, water, and sewer connections
