The City of Savannah is seeking proposals from qualified firms to lead key elements of our economic mobility initiative and produce a comprehensive financial roadmap called, “The Savannah Blueprint." This project has been made possible by a grant from the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund as a part of their CityStart Initiative. Through this unique funding opportunity, cities like Savannah will develop comprehensive financial empowerment goals for residents as well as community stakeholders. In addition, actionable strategies will be included in the document for community members to improve their economic position. The Savannah Blueprint will be a roadmap based upon local data, substantive feedback, and resource identification with the goal of assisting our residents in achieving greater economic mobility. The CityStart initiative encompasses two components of action – the learning phase and the design phase. The learning phase includes analysis of the local financial landscape, in-depth data collection and comprehensive community engagement in stakeholder roundtables to identify key opportunities and challenges within the area. The design phase follows with the crafting of a comprehensive, government-led financial empowerment blueprint. This Request for Proposals covers both the learning phase and the design phase with scope components for data collection, stakeholder engagement, and developing the financial empowerment blueprint report (both a draft and finalized document).
