The WestRock Observatory’s 24-inch PlaneWave telescope (CDK24) is fully capable of supporting professionallevel research and aligns with the specifications of the PlaneWave CDK24 system. The current mount, installed in 2012 as a first-generation model, is no longer supported for upgrades or repairs. PlaneWave mounts are specifically engineered to integrate with the CDK24 telescopes. To ensure optimal performance and long-term support, we are requesting the following: • PlaneWave L-Series 600 Direct Drive Mount for CDK24 • Wedge (Equatorial, 32–38° latitude) for L500–600 mount • One each of: PlaneWave Extender, Spacer, and Adapter (for proper camera mounting) • Crates for shipping the mount and wedge • Freight charges • Installation fees The included PlaneWave control software is fully compatible with our existing telescope control system, and the mount modeling software is designed specifically for the CDK24–mount configuration.
