San Juan County is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide tree trimming, pruning, and removal services on as as-needed basis throughout the County. Bidder shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, transportation, materials, tools and equipment for tree services. Locations are varied within San Juan County New Mexico. The bidder shall provide technical specifications of equipment to be used as proposed. The selected bidder will provide an hourly rate for services. The following conditions will apply under the resulting contract. - Provide hourly rates (or per-tree/per-service pricing) for trimming, pruning, removal, stump grinding, and disposal. - Provide mobilization/demobilization costs (if applicable). - Respond to emergency calls within a specified time frame (e.g., within 4 hours of request). - Supply all necessary equipment, labor, safety gear, and traffic control if work is performed along public roads. - Work shall be performed in accordance with recognized industry standards (e.g. ANSI A300) and in a manner appropriate to the specific tree species, site conditions and safety requirements. Contractor is responsible for exercising the same standards of care expected of a qualified arborist performing similar services in public settings, and for complying will all applicable local/state/federal regulations. This is an open-ended, as-needed contract with no guaranteed minimum amount of work. Services will be requested by County staff on an as-needed basis.
