1. Prepare applications as directed by the PEZDC Executive Director and submit the same to the NJ Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA) via the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE). Anticipate between ten and twelve applications per year. Typical submissions shall require: a. Preparation of Request For Proposals for services necessary for project implementation. b. Coordination with City of Passaic department personnel related to the necessary information for UEZ project submission. c. Preparation of resolutions as required by NJDCA for approval by the Passaic Enterprise Development Corporation Board of Trustees and Passaic City Council. d. Responding to NJ UEZA Staff regarding application modifications. 2. Assist the Zone Coordinator in the management and oversight of projects, including but not limited to: a. Monitoring project objectives b. Monitoring project budgets c. Making recommendations to the Executive Director regarding any modifications required to projects. d. Reporting as required to the NJ Urban Enterprise Zone Authority e. Attending NJ UEZA meetings and training events. 3. Assist the Executive Director in matters related to business attraction, in particular projects located in the UEZ and within designated Areas in Need of Redevelopment and those that are likely to contribute to the increasing employment in the City. 4. Coordinate with other business assistance programs operating in the UEZ Zone including the Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP), the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program (NRTC), and programs offered by the NJ Economic Development Authority and New Jersey Redevelopment Agency.
