This work includes the provision oflabor, material, equipment, supervision and administration to integrate the work outlined in these specifications into the total building system such that no leakage into the system occurs. In general, the scope of work in the Base Bid includes: 1. Standing Seam Metal Roof - Roof Areas A & B: a. Prepare low slope roof and provide steep slope retrofit framing to provide specified slope. Ensure retrofit framing and fasteners penetrating roof system are installed in a watertight condition. b. Provide batt insulation over roof system. c. Provide vinyl faced batt insulation and thermal spacers over zee purlins. d. Asphalt shingles roof sections toremain. Remove flashings and sheet metal as necessary to facilitate roof replacement. e. Provide 2.5" Roof Insulation mechanically attached over Asphalt Shingles. f. Provide standing seam metal roof panel system along with flashings, trim and accessories. g. Provide snow guard system along eave edge and upslope side of roof penetrations. h. Provide a complete, weathertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly with 30-year finish warranty. F. Provide electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related trade work necessary tofacilitate project operations. Relocate or raise conduit, HVAC equipment, curbs, and/or plumbing necessary to comply with the requirements of these documents and conform to the requirements of the State Building Code. 1. Conduct construction operations so thatheat,air conditioning, ventilation, electrical, telephone, gas, water, sanitary, storm sewer, and any other service required for the building operations are maintained at all times during normal working hours. Any shutdowns or interruptions shall be coordinated with and approved by the owner.
