The contractor will perform the following services, as directed by the Board Legislative and Regulatory Monitoring Track proposed legislation, regulations, and policies that may affect the client. Provide timely updates, summaries, and analyses of relevant developments. Advocacy and Representation Represent the client before state government officials, as applicable. Facilitate meetings with policymakers and staff to communicate client priorities. Advocate positions aligned with the client’s goals. Strategic Counsel Advise the client on political and policy developments that may impact operations. Recommend strategies to advance legislative and regulatory objectives. Provide guidance on relationship building with stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement Identify and foster relationships with government officials, trade associations, coalitions, and community organizations relevant to the client’s interests. Assist in coordinating client participation in hearings, meetings, or public comment opportunities. Reporting and Communication Provide regular written reports on activities, developments, and outcomes. Participate in scheduled meetings or conference calls to brief the Board. Deliver annual/quarterly legislative and regulatory outlooks, as requested.
