The project is briefly described as follows: In general, the improvements on which bids are requested will require the removal of 3,145 square yards of existing sidewalk and pavement ranging from 4-inch to 12-inch thickness; removing 187 linear feet of existing storm sewer pipe up to 30-inch in diameter, and earthwork in embankment of 260 cubic yards. It requires the installation of 816 cubic yards of 4-inch concrete sidewalk; 379 cubic yards of 6-inch concrete driveways/hike-bike trail and ADA ramps; 1854 cubic yards of 8-inch concrete pavement with integral curb; 373 linear feet of 6-inch concrete steel reinforced planter curbing; 127 linear feet of RCP storm sewer pipe ranging from 15-inch to 30-inch in diameter; 2 storm sewer curb inlets with 72-inch throat opening, and other incidentals as indicated in the Contract Documents.
