The Products provided by the Successful Contractor must adhere to the following specifications: a. Cold Mix Asphalt shall be a manufactured product that comes in bulk form. b. Product must have the following properties: 1. Be able to go into a damp hole, 2. Require no primer or other special hole preparation, 3. Require no specialized equipment to install or compact, 4. Have a minimum storage life of 1 year, and 5. Remain workable in adverse weather conditions prior to placement. c. Gradation - Product shall be reasonably well graded from maximum size (1/2”) to dust with less than 5% passing the #200 sieve. d. Workability - Product shall have a workability number of 4 or less as determined by AASHTO TP43-94. e. Coating - Product shall have a minimum coating of 90% as determined by AASHTO TP40- 94
