The goal of this project is to replace and upgrade the emergency power systems at the MVA Glen Burnie Facility to ensure the building has safe, reliable, and code-compliant power infrastructure. This includes: • Providing one 150KW indoor generator with sub-base tank and 75KW load bank. • Providing two ATSs 480V 3 phase 4 pole and associated feeders and conduits, one rated at 200A for Headquarters building, one rated at 100A for OIR building. • Providing 5 new panelboards for life-safety loads, one panel rated at 200A, and four panels rated at 100A. • Providing feeder cables and associated conduits/duct bank for the generator power system. • Extending existing circuits for life-safety loads to the new panels. • Providing HVAC design for the existing generator room. • Providing civil design for duct bank related civil work. • Providing new lighting design for the existing generator room. • Providing new power design for the existing generator room. • Replacing existing ATSs with new ones, 6 for OIR building and 6 for Headquarters building. • Upgrading control system for all ATSs.
