RIDE is seeking a vendor to manage the hiring, salaries, benefits where indicated, and overall talent management for minimally the following positions and services: A. Expanded Learning Opportunity/Learn365RI Consultant This is a part time (averaging 20 hours per week), time limited (through September 30, 2026) consultant position to coordinate and administer all aspects of the Learn365RI initiative statewide to ensure the long-term goals of improving student learning outcomes. This position has an expected rate of pay of $60 per hour with no benefits, with a currently anticipated total of 1440 hours in FY26 and 360 hours in FY27. Responsibilities include: Provides on-going management, program development, and quality improvement to the municipalities and partners, including grants management, contract management, evaluation, professional development, technical assistance, monitoring, policy development, strategic planning, budgeting, regional and statewide meeting planning, reporting, and any other appropriate tasks related to the initiative. Coordinates efforts with state, local and community organizations and stakeholders related to learning beyond the formal school day and traditional school year. Conducts and manages the data systems collection to analyze, share and use data for decision-making related to program quality improvement and student achievement that informs statewide policy and decision making. Represents RIDE to ensure the perspective and interests of RIDE are represented in numerous state-level policy and program development groups, legislative commissions, and initiatives related to after-school initiatives. Performs related work as assigned. Some in-state travel is expected with this position, which may be reimbursed through this contract, not to exceed $500 total per year. B. AmeriCorps Outreach and Training Specialist This is a full-time salaried employee working 1820 hours yearly. In prior years, the wages and fringe benefits, including retirement and health, cost $78,000-$84,000. The specialist supports RIDE and the Rhode Island Commission for National and Community Service in meeting AmeriCorps member enrollment and retention targets through training, technical assistance, and outreach efforts. This includes: Support RIDE staff to ensure that grant programs reflect current and best practices and are in full compliance with applicable federal regulations and grant terms and conditions. Support the design and delivery of high-quality training and technical assistance for AmeriCorps grant programs and members either directly or by managing subcontracts. Facilitate projects or partnerships that promote a positive AmeriCorps member experience and life-long commitment to service, including Justice Talks: A Civic Reflection Series.
