Respondents that have expertise in the provision of Municipal Auditor Services. The Municipal Auditor shall be a public accountant of the State of New Jersey and have the designation of Registered Municipal Accountant (RMA). Firms and/or persons responding to this RFQ shall be able to demonstrate that they will have the continuing capabilities to perform these services if awarded a contract. 1. Shall be available to attend meetings, including committee meetings, staff meetings and public hearings meetings with the Mayor and Municipal Council of the Township and attend all necessary work sessions of the Municipal Council as required. 2. The Auditor shall audit the books, accounts and financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. 3. Auditor shall assist with the preparation of the municipal budget. 4. Auditor shall assist with preparation of the Annual Financial Statement and Annual Debt Statement. 5. Perform any additional duties as directed by the Township.
