1. Provide photography services on an as needed basis, 24 hours a day, within two (2) hours of request, seven days a week at any location within the State of New Jersey during the twelve (12) month period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Photographer must be able to quickly arrive at sites within Essex County, and particularly the Essex County Hall of Records in the City of Newark on a rush basis. 2. Maintain a telephone, cellular telephone, telephone answering machine, fax machine, e-mail address or pager to communicate with the Director of Public Information to receive assignments. 3. Make all arrangements to provide a temporary and reliable replacement, with the consent of the Director, when he/she goes on vacation or is unable to fulfill an assignment. When arranging coverage for a vacation or scheduled day off, the Photographer shall submit the name and contact information of his/her temporary replacement no less than five (5) days before the start of the vacation or day off. The temporary photographer must agree to all of the terms and conditions provided in the Photographer’s contract. Compensation for the replacement photographer is the sole responsibility of the Photographer and is without additional cost to Essex County. 4. Be responsible, at his/her own cost and expense, for transportation to and from assignments at any location assigned by the Director of Public Information or elsewhere within the State of New Jersey and must be knowledgeable about the sites and roads therein. 5. Be responsible for taking photographs and/or images of County facilities, officials, at meetings, events, award ceremonies, and other various programs as required by the Director of Public Information.
