1. Home Inspection Services: The Jefferson Davis County Board of Supervisors is accepting proposals for new home inspection services from Mississippi licensed home inspectors who have the new home(NH) designation. The home inspector will be responsible for conducting three periodic construction inspections (foundation, black-in, and final) and submission of a written report of the inspections to the Jefferson Davis County HOME Grant Administrator.ministrator. 2. LEGAL Legal consultation services asrequired for the implementationof the proposed improvementin accordance with State andHUD prescribed rules, Federalregulation, policies, and Statelaw. Title opinions will also berequired and will be priced ona per parcel or unit basis. Legal services may also includeconsultation services, the evaluation of all contracts, etc. Thecontract for services will be on aper unit basis. 3. ASBESTOS/LEAD BASEDPAINT INSPECTOR (ENVIRONMENTAL) The Asbestos/Lead Based Paint Inspector will perform inspections prior to rehabilitation of units to determine presence and treatment of materials containing asbestos and/or lead based paint. The offeror for providing this service must be certified by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and a valid DEQ Certification Number.
