The fence will be -6,500 linear feet. CCA #40 treated pine posts with a minimum of 6” diameter and 14’ height are to be mechanically driven 36-40 inches below grade at all fence corners/ends. Line posts shall be mechanically driven 36- 40 inches below grade every 65 linear feet. They will be CCA #40 treated pine posts with a minimum of 6” diameter and 12’ height. At a maximum of every 330 linear feet, at all gates, and all fence corners shall be “H” braced/angled stay brace combo with at least 20’ of bracing to ensure proper tension of wire fence. They will be CCA #40 treated pine posts with a minimum of 6” diameter and installed 36-40 inches below grade Connecting sections of fence roll shall be joined and tensioned with Gripple Plus (or equivalent) connectors. Excess wire shall be trimmed to 3” and connected to fence to allow for future re-tensioning. 10 foot galvanized “t”-posts with sand plates shall be installed every 15’ between line posts with color to match the fence. (T-post color must be approved by SCDNR prior to installation.) Five (5) 24’ wide, wire-filled tractor gates shall be installed at points determined by SCDNR. Gates will be double 12’ gates. Two (2) 10’ wide, wire-filled access gates shall be installed at points determined by SCDNR. All debris pertaining to the work shall be removed from the job site upon completion of the work. The job site shall be kept in a neat and orderly condition. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits.
