The Contractor shall: A. Launder, sanitize, spot treat (if required), tumble dry, fold and press all linens. B. Use only non-allergenic soaps, detergents or other chemicals to render the finished products to be delivered. C. Ensure that the linens are maintained throughout the life of this contract in conditions satisfactory to ACCD. D. Provide laundered linens free from soil, dirt, debris, stains, dampness, offensive odors, mildew, cleansing chemical residue, bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms, including pathogens. E. Ensure that all white fabric is bright white, pleasing to the eye and free of yellow or grey tinges or other unsightly appearance and black linens are kept vivid, free from discoloration and fading due to poor cleaning practices. F. Use commercial sustainable washing formulas proven to be effective in producing: 1. Maximum soil removal 2. Free of excessive stains 3. Color retention 4. Minimum of tensile strength loss; and 5. Clean, fresh smell G. Reprocess the linen(s), at no additional cost to the City, if the Contract Manager or designee determines that the spots or stains are not thoroughly removed.
