The Contractor will provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform surveillance, trapping, and pesticide applications on an as needed basis. Pest control services will be performed year-round at the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Contract Specialist or their designee to maintain healthy environments across CBJ facilities. The total serviced area is approximately 429,552 square feet and includes warehouses, break rooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms, offices, and workshops. CBJ pest control efforts will focus on achieving long-term, environmentally responsible pest suppression through an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. This strategy goes beyond pesticide application to prioritize structural and procedural modifications that limit pest access to food, water, and harborage. The contractor is required to provide detailed, site-specific recommendations to support structural and procedural changes. All recommendations must be approved by the Facilities Maintenance Superintendent, Facilities Maintenance Contract Specialist, or their designee before any action is taken. The contractor will regularly use appropriate monitoring tools to detect pest infestations and determine the need for corrective treatment. Preferred methods include bait stations, crack-and-crevice treatments, and void applications.
