The contract is to supply Jackson-Madison County School System (JMCSS) with bulk motor oil. This specification covers engine oils suitable for lubrication of reciprocating internal combustion engines of spark Ignition types. The contract will run from the award date through June 30, 2026 and will be for up to 750 gallons of 15W40 Engine Oil. The contractor shall deliver bulk oil 15W40, at specified times of order to in 250-gallon loads to JMCSS bulk tank located inside the Transportation Shop at 59 Harts Bridge Road West, Jackson, TN 38301. Prices shall include delivery to aforementioned address. The oils shall be of the highest quality, manufactured with the newest additive technology, and shall provide superior performance in both diesel and gasoline engine service. Engine Oil 15W40 shall be used for internal combustion engines using diesel fuel. JMCSS is looking for bulk delivery of 15W40 oil meeting or exceeding the below standards: This product must not be a full synthetic oil. Synthetic blend or conventional only (Conventional Preferred) Must be compatible to be added to the bulk oil tank presently containing conventional 15W40 oil. Oil will conform to 15W40 standard oil weight and comply with CK4, or better, Specifications and performance measures. Contractor shall, without additional expense to JMCSS, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with all Federal, State, and Municipal laws, codes and regulations applicable of the work performed under this contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for cleaning up any discharge that occurs during delivery and placement. A discharge is defined as the accidental or intentional spilling, leaking, pumping, emitting, emptying, or dumping of waste onto or into the land or water. The contractor shall submit a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the solvent(s) to be used for this contract.
