(1) Complete removal and disposal of the existing plexiglass half round window located above the main entry of the main Courthouse facility. (2) Once removal is complete, replace the existing window sash with an aluminum (or similar material), insulated frame with a Low E insulate unit designed to simulate the original. This includes keeping three distinct vertical window panes. (3) The window must meet or exceed the u-value set forth in the Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (*ASHRAE 90.1) for exterior building windows. (4) Use 100% silicone or polyurethane caulk as sealant. (5) Take necessary precautions to protect the inside wood trim and slate floor located on the interior side of the window. (6) Scrape and repaint the exterior existing paint with a color comparable to existing color. (7) Remove and dispose of the temporary storm window frame with yellowed plexiglass. (8) Removal and disposal of debris, trash, and remnants from the project.
