The Work of this Contract includes repairing and/or replacing various car washer equipment and completing various building repairs at Canarsie Yard, 207th Street Yard, and Jamaica Yard; replacing application nozzles, deteriorated storage tanks, pumps, air curtains, and other car washer system equipment; repairing walls and roofs of the car washer buildings; installing new supply and return piping, insulation, drain pans; cleaning and upgrading all steel framing and panels to address rusting and deterioration; upgrading existing controls and monitoring systems associated with the car washer operation; installing new fiberglass drain pans and drain covers; installing and accommodating new HVAC units at various structures; replacing and upgrading cabling; upgrading the fire alarm and intercom system; removing and replacing track rails, plates, ties, ballast, third rail, and all appurtenances at the 207th Street Yard car washer; and performing flood mitigation work at the Canarsie Yard.
