Contractor shall perform inspections that are non-destructive testing and inspection of aerial ladders, platforms and ground ladders according to the latest National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 1911, 1932, and 1932: industry Standards for Inspection Maintenance, Testing, and Retirement of In-Service Automotive Fire Apparatus Latest Edition, Chapter on Performance Testing of Aerial Devices and any and all revisions. * Contractor shall perform testing within the confines of Nashville Davidson County, Tennessee at a location and (date to be decided) TBD by the Logistics Division of the Nashville Fire Department. * Technician in the test method used, as specified in (American National Standard): ASNT CP-189, Standard for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing Personnel, factory technicians. * Contractor shall provide testing history in an electronic format upon request. Testing history shall be maintained for the life of the contract. * Contractor shall perform testing on all Ladders and Aerial Apparatus on an annual basis at a minimum. * Contractor shall upon completion of tests, all units shall have a complete written or digital report with a digital picture of unit on the cover page. Serious defects will have a picture in the summary page. * Contractor shall provide reports in digital or written form. * Contractor shall provide report on-site same day as the inspection. * Contractor shall provide inspections if requested after needed repairs are made and provide the department with a certificate of inspection afterwards.
