General: Texas State University is seeking proposals for the purchase and delivery of Texas Low Emission Diesel (TXLED) - Ultra Low Sulfur Clear On-Road Diesel. The University’s shuttle service purchases approximately 225,000 gallons of fuel annually to support shuttle operations in San Marcos, Texas (Hays County). Deliveries will be made to 4980 Transportation Way, San Marcos, Texas 78666. The delivery site is equipped with a 12,000-gallon above-ground storage tank, and each typical delivery consists of a 7,500-gallon tanker load. The minimum requirements and specifications for these services are outlined below and include, but are not limited to: 1.1.1 Fuel Requirements: a. All fuel will be TXLED Ultra Low Sulfur Clear On-Road Diesel (see Exhibit S - Test Methods Specifications) b. All fuel will be delivered to one (1) location. c. All fuel will be delivered from Flint Hills Resources Mustang Ridge Terminal, unless otherwise requested or approved in writing by Texas State University. d. All fuel additives must be injected into the fuel using calibrated injection systems. Under no circumstances may additives be manually poured or dumped. e. Respondents shall ensure all operations comply and meet current Federal, State, County, and local laws, codes, statutes and requirements. f. Respondents must comply with all Federal Transit Administration rules and requirements. g. Respondents are required to sign and return all submittals and certifications.
