It is the intent of the Joint Meeting to solicit Qualification Statements from Respondents that have expertise in the provision of legal services – Special Conflict Counsel . Firms and/or persons responding to this RFQ shall be able to demonstrate that they will have the continuing capabilities to perform these services: 7 a. Special Conflict Counsel shall provide representation to the Joint Meeting, as needed, in cases where a conflict is present or specific experience or expertise is desired on various matters that may arise during the contract year. b. Attend regular, special and emergency meetings of the Joint Meeting, as required. c. Attend meetings that the Joint Meeting or its Executive Director deem necessary. d. Prepare legal opinions or legal memoranda as requested by the Joint Meeting or its Executive Director including, but not limited to, monthly counsel reports.
