The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids to this Two Step Invitation For Bid (2-STEP IFB) from qualified firms to establish a contract through competitive sealed bidding for the Program Management of the Towing and Recovery Incentive Program (herein referred to TRIP). Bidders shall detail how statewide consistency will be achieved and maintained while dealing with one statewide contract across all nine (9) district service areas. Services will be delivered at the district level. VDOT encourages Bidders to bring innovative ideas and solutions that result in cost and operation efficiencies with respect to TRIP. VDOT is seeking a comprehensive approach for TRIP that will effectively leverage private sector innovation and expertise. This Project provides mission critical services to VDOT, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (24x7x365).
