A. Group A (Item Nos. 1 through 4) 1. Item No. 1 – Sam Browne Waist Belt Make and Model: Tex Shoemaker No. 201 Sam Browne Waist Belt, Aker Model No. B03-HPD-BP or approved substitute. Type: Nickel chrome. Width: 2-1/4 inches, edged and creased. Contour: Straight contour. Leather: “A” select, 11 ounce bends, plain. Color: Plain black. Hardware: Non-tarnishing, chrome plated hardware; doubledetachable, Velcro or pile type NOT acceptable. Lining: Half-lined with 4 to 5 ounces of leather, laminated and sewn in place with lock stitching. Stitching: Approximately ¼ inch from the outer edges with 5 cord linen thread. Identification Lettering: Shall include the letters “HPD” (no periods), stamped on the back of the belt, 1/2 inch high, identical to existing identification lettering on HPD’s current equipment. See sample in Exhibit A. 2. Item No. 2 – Sally Brown Waist Belt (Right) Make and Model Number: Tex Shoemaker No. 201C Sally Browne Waist Belt, Aker Model No. B03-W-HPD-BP or approved substitute. Type: Nickel chrome. Width: 2-1/4 inches, edged and creased. Contour: Arc shaped belt, tapered to allow proper alignment and comfort for the female configuration. Leather: Full grain cowhide, 6-1/2 to 7 ounces, plain. Color: Plain black. Hardware: Non-tarnishing, chrome plated hardware; double-detachable, Velcro or pile type NOT acceptable. Lining: Fully lined with 6-1/2 to 7 ounces of leather, laminated and sewn in place with lock stitching. Stitching: Stitched with 277 nylon cord, approximately 1/8 inch around the entire edge of the belt. Starting approximately 2-1/4 inches from one end of the belt, two (2) stitch lines (approximately 6/8 inch apart and approximately ½ inch in from the sides) shall run through the middle of the belt to a tapered end. Orientation: Right Identification Lettering: Shall include the letters “HPD” (no periods), stamped on the back of the belt, 1/2 inch high, identical to existing identification lettering on HPD’s current equipment.
