Preventative Maintenance will include an inspection of all equipment listed above. Service will include the prescribed safety checks and equipment calibration of all equipment. Any necessary minor adjustments will be made by the Contractor at the scheduled preventative maintenance inspections. As required, all components will be cleaned, lubricated, replaced, and a functional test of each equipment listed above will be completed by the Contractor. Performance qualification will be performed on all equipment listed above at least once a year. The Contractor will notify the customer of any items requiring further attention prior to the departure from the laboratory on the scheduled visit. Additional quarterly preventative maintenance: 4.2.3.1. Clean all steam traps. This should also be done when indications point to trap malfunctioning. 4.2.3.2. Replace the bacteria retentive air filter. 4.2.3.3. On units equipped with a steam generator, clean and service the generator. See section 8 on servicing the generator and low water cut off later in this manual. 4.2.3.4. Inspect solenoid valves and rebuild if necessary. 4.2.3.5. Pop safety valves and make sure they reseat properly.
