KET seeks a law firm specializing in telecommunications and media law, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other federal laws and regulations related to noncommercial educational broadcasting. The scope of work includes legal services for FCC law and regulations, including but not limited to licensing, required public notifications, public file reports of donors and issue responsive programming, underwriting, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, Educational Broadband Service, ATSC 3.0, and other FCC obligations. Legal services may also include frequency and interference negotiations and agreements, as well as compliance with the Communications Act, Public Broadcasting Act, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Federal Election Commission (FEC) law and regulation. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis, expected to average less than 10 hours each month. The rate for this work is not to exceed $600 per hour.
