Construction of approximately 400 linear feet of roadway with multiuse path. The work includes placement of embankment fill material and riprap slope protection as well as installation of pile supported precast concrete clamshell (8’ high by 15’ wide by 50’ long) box culvert with wingwalls. The pile support system and wing walls shall be designed, supplied and installed by the Contractor as part of the Base Bid Scope of work. The precast box culvert material shall be supplied by Superior Concrete LLC under separate contact with the City. The Contractor shall be responsible for designing the pile support system and wing walls to accommodate the precast concrete box culvert; scheduling delivery and offloading of box culvert materials (delivery by Superior Concrete LLC); and installation of box culvert as part of the Base Bid scope of work. The Base Bid scope of work also includes relocation of approximately 380’ of water main, including the installation of a carrier sleeve beneath the new box culvert, and reconnection to existing water main.
