Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) is a multi-campus institution serving students across several locations, including the Main Campus in Sumter, SC; the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Training Center (AMTTC) in Sumter, SC; the Health Sciences Center in Sumter, SC; the Clarendon County Campus and the Kershaw County Campus. Recent developments have created a need to reassess and standardize campus signage: • Two new buildings have been constructed (M100 and M200). • Two Main Campus buildings are being renovated (M300R and M500, first floor) • Significant departmental relocations have taken place. • One building has been demolished, with another (M100A) scheduled for demolition after renovations and moves are completed. The college’s goal is to ensure that all campus signage—interior, exterior, directional and wayfinding—is consistent in design, compliant with ADA and safety standards and reflective of institutional branding. The selected vendor will help integrate existing signage with new building signage standards and provide tools for CCTC staff to create and maintain certain sign types in-house using free software.
