The project description and scope of services includes but is not limited to: • The selected firm will provide complete design of a 40’x80’ pre-engineered metal building addition to the existing facility. The addition to include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural design. • All general conditions such as a building permit, full-time Superintendent, dumpsters, portable toilets, surveying, etc. to be included. • Work to include three (3) new 12’x14’ overhead (OH) doors to be motor operated. • Work to include new foundations and 6” concrete slab. Thickened slabs to be included where lifts may be mounted in the future by others. • Work to include gas fired unit heaters to provide heat only for the new addition. New louvers to be included as needed as the two current louvers will need to be removed to accommodate new addition. • New LED lighting to be ceiling mounted along with receptacles and light switches to meet code. One 220v electrical outlet to be included for welding machine in left rear portion of the new addition. • No ceiling grid or tiles to be included. This will be in contrast to the existing grid ceiling system currently installed. • Work to include one (1) new water line to exterior mounted spigot. No other plumbing is included. • Work to include removal of trees where new addition is to go; will be cleared and grubbed and backfill brought in to accommodate new concrete foundations and slab. • Work to include removal of existing fence where new building is to be built. The fence that is not in the building footprint will not be removed. • Work to include new 20’ wide by 80’ long 6” tick concrete apron running in front of the OH doors...
