The awarded Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and permits necessary to construct and install a roof extension to the existing Recycling Center located at 60 Transportation Lane, Dawsonville, GA 30534, in accordance with the engineering drawings stamped by Albert J. Palmer, P.E. (Exhibit A); Work Includes: • Surface Preparation and Sanding o Clean Minor rust and peeling areas on the existing structure by scraping or wire brushing. Apply a red iron primer to all treated areas to ensure a uniform and finished appearance. • Wall Panel Replacement o Remove the existing wood framing and metal sheeting on the designated side panel. Replace with new pressure-treated wood framing and install new metal sheeting. The new sheeting must match the existing metal façade on the front of the Recycling Center. Note: Existing lattice does NOT require replacement. • Permitting o The selected Contractor is responsible for obtaining a Building Permit from the Dawson County Community Development Department prior to commencement of work.
